Extreme And Severe Weather Events – Storm Brendan

The first of two orange wind warnings are now in place as Storm Brendan arrived over Ireland yesterday morning bringing gusts of almost 100km per hour. The Head of Met Éireann has said there would be “several hours of very dangerous weather”, and that the status orange conditions may pose a threat to life and property, with dangerous driving conditions, falling trees and possible power cuts.

Increase In The National Minimum Wage
