Public Side of Gender Pay Gap Portal Launched
Minister for Children, Disability and Equality, Norma Foley announced the launch of the public side of the Gender Pay Gap Portal this month. The portal allows users to see, compare and review the Employer data on gender pay gaps and filter by year, sector and Organisation size.
Voluntary Publication for 2025 Reporting Cycle
The Gender Pay Gap Portal was launched in November 2025 on a voluntary basis for Organisations with over 50 Employees to upload their gender pay gap reports. The reports submitted on a voluntary basis have now become available for the public to view.
Publication on the Portal to be Mandatory for the 2026 Reporting Cycle
The Minister also confirmed that it will be a legislative requirement for all Organisations in scope of the legislation to submit their reports to the Gender Pay Gap Portal for the 2026 and subsequent reporting cycles.
Requirement to Publish Reports on Websites or Make Them Available to the Public
It is important to note that in-scope Organisations are already required to publish their Gender Pay Gap Information on their websites in 2025, or to make it available to the public in some other manner where they do not have a website. This requirement will remain in place when use of the portal becomes mandatory in 2026.
