Joining Derek McKay, Managing Director at Adare Human Resource Management for a discussion on Organisational Health and Wellbeing Strategies - key components, will be the panellists:

  • Sinead Proos, Head of Health and Wellbeing, laya healthcare
    Sinead Proos, with over 18 years international experience spanning FMCG, Infant Nutrition & Health Ingredients Industries, Sinéad has held Global positions at NUMICO, DANONE Early Life Nutrition (Netherlands) and Senior Management positions at Procter & Gamble (UK), SKIM decision behaviour experts (Netherlands) and most recently at Food for Health Ireland. Within these positions, she has successfully led multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative ingredients, products & services within international health and wellness industries.

  • Dr. Emelina Ellis, Clinical Psychologist, Spectrum Life
    Dr. Emelina Ellis is a Chartered Counselling Psychologist BSc, CPsychol., PsychD and an accredited member of the British Psychological Society, she has experience working in services with adult, older adult, child & adolescent mental health in a variety of psychotherapeutic approaches, psychological assessment and a Clinical Supervisor. Dr. Emelina has wide experience as a Clinical Lead for Global EAP providers. Dr. Emelina is the Clinical Excellence Lead in Spectrum.Life and as such she is responsible for the day to day management, development and ongoing review of the EAP service, strategic planning, as well as overseeing the service delivery of the EAP in Spectrum.Life including the clinical team, employee assistance advisors, affiliate counsellors, trauma counsellors, affiliate network, recruitment, training and clinical governance.

  • Darren Gavin, Business Development Manager, laya healthcare
    Darren Gavin, with over 20 year’s in people management, corporate business / sales, Financial Planning, Banking and Insurance, has been described as a connector, tenacious, dynamic, enthusiastic and driven. Having spent a number of years (3) in Canada where he worked as a Branch Leader, District coach and District manager for Sales and Strategy, he is currently a corporate relationship manager with the top health and wellbeing company in Ireland, Laya Healthcare.

The panellists bring a diverse set of perspectives, expertise and knowledge and will share their insights on how best to create and foster a culture that actively supports organisations and their people.

The panel will discuss:

  1. The immediacy of the challenge organisations are facing with regard to organisational and employee health and wellbeing

  2. The key components of an effective organisational health and wellbeing strategy

  3. How to ensure your health and wellbeing strategy works for your employees
