Derek McKay
Founder and Director (Executive), Linea & Adare HRM
Derek McKay, BBS, Chartered MCIPD, is an experienced Human Resource and Employment Law practitioner who has worked extensively in the private, not-for-profit and public sectors. Since founding Adare in 2003, Derek has overseen the growth of the business to become one of Ireland’s leading HR, Employment Law and Industrial Relations Consultancies. In 2022, Derek changed roles from Managing Director to joining the Board of Directors. Prior to setting up Adare, Derek worked in the Human Resource Departments in a number of multinational organisations. Derek is currently a member of the CIPD National Committee and a member of Workplace and Skills Taskforce with Chambers Ireland.

Oliver Coakley is a Senior HR/Reward Executive with over 25 years’ experience operating within highly matrixed global businesses. Oliver has a passion for designing, implementing and leveraging Reward frameworks to support companies with ambitious growth plans and high-performance cultures. Oliver has extensive experience with executive and broad based compensation and benefits programs across Europe, North America, APAC and LATAM as well as extensive experience in leading Rewards M&A due diligence and integration.

Deirdre Bennett, MSc. HR is an experienced HR professional with over 20 years’ experience in a wide range of industries including financial services, pharmaceutical, aviation and now construction. Having recently been appointed as JJ Rhatigan’s Chief People Officer, Deirdre brings a wealth of expertise and knowledge to the role, playing a critical part in shaping the company culture and ensuring that employees are engaged, supported, and empowered to succeed. Her focus is to provide strategic and operational HR support to the business in a variety of areas such as employee engagement and development, talent management, change management and business transformation.
