Time: 10am – 10.40am

Location: Online via Zoom

What is this webinar about?

Over the past number of years, we have witnessed a continued increase in the number of employment challenges arising for Employers in relation to Bullying in the workplace.

We have seen also the impact bullying has on both the individual Employee and on the Employer.

An updated Code of Practice concerning the prevention and resolution of bullying at work by way of a statutory instrument was published on 5th January 2021 - Industrial Relations Act 1990 (Code of Practice for Employers and Employees on the Prevention and Resolution of Bullying at Work) Order 2020.

The Statutory Instrument:

  • Defines bullying at work

  • Sets out the management of bullying at work and the preventative measures and actions that should be taken

  • The formal process which should be implemented

So, what changes should Organisations make (or have made already) to their Anti-Bullying policy and procedure?

How will the updated Code of Practice impact decisions in the Workplace Relations Commission (WRC) and Labour Court?

What are the risks for Organisations in not implementing the updated Code of Practice?

Join us at our upcoming webinar for answers to these key questions and more, where we share our experience of supporting Organisations.

At the webinar, we will be covering:

  • Bullying in the Workplace – requirements under the Code of Practice and what changes Organisations should make to their policy and procedure

  • Understanding the differences between - Mediation; Initial Informal Process; Secondary Informal Process; Formal Process

  • Key Case Law

Join 100’s of HR practitioners and keep your HR knowledge and skills up-to date.
