Sligo Chamber partnership with Adare Human Resource Management to support businesses in post-Covid environment

As businesses across the county and country return employees to the workplace, they are faced with some unique challenges in a post-Covid environment. To support its members in meeting these challenges, Sligo Chamber has announced a strategic partnership with Adare Human Resource Management, one of Ireland’s leading HR, Employment Law and Health & Safety Consultancies.

Aidan Doyle, CEO of Sligo Chamber said: “It is great to see many of our members reopening their businesses and returning to their offices. It has been a long and difficult 18 months for many but I feel a sense optimism coming back in to the local economy.
“Employers and employees alike still have important roles to play to keep the spread of Covid-19 as low as possible. Adhering to Government and public health advice is crucial to ensure safe working environments, particularly in a situation as fluid as the one we’re currently in. However, working with partners like Adare Human Resource Management gives employers peace of mind that they are fully compliant with health and safety measures as well as the latest employment legislation.”

According to Derek McKay, Managing Director at Adare Human Resource Management, businesses have been adapting to changes on a scale never seen before. “Covid-19 continues to have a dramatic impact on the employment landscape across the country. Remote and hybrid working, managing the safe return to the workplace as well as the impending legislation on Statutory Sick Pay and Gender Pay will mean that we will continue to see uncertainty over the coming months.
“We are delighted that we can provide Sligo Chamber members with the support and guidance needed to deal with this uncertainty as well as provide the ongoing HR and Employment Law advice needed to ensure compliance.”

Sligo Chamber represents businesses on critical issues, provides a platform for members to raise their profile along with many networking, marketing and PR opportunities. This strategic HR partnership will further enhance the benefits of membership with regular Human Resource events and communications on the latest legislation and HR best practice.
