The Minister of State for Employment, Small Business and Retail, Alan Dillon, has confirmed that he intends to sign a new Employment Regulation Order for the security industry.
The Order will amend the 2024 Order governing the security sector and is set to commence on 22nd July 2025.
Organisations should note that from 22nd July 2025, the new minimum rate of pay for workers in the security sector will be €15.41 per hour (currently €14.50 per hour).
