Adare Human Resource Management are pleased to announce that our Head of Employer Relations, Katie Ridge will be participating in the inaugural National Menopause Summit Advocating for Change, taking place in The Round Room at The Mansion House, Dublin on Thursday, March 23, 2023.
This event brings together leading advocates, clinicians, facilitators and professionals in the area of menopause and perimenopause and is moderated by journalist and broadcaster Gráinne Seoige and also features the phenomenal Davina McCall. The Summit aims to provide inclusive fact-based information, advocating for support across both the personal and professional arenas.
Last year, Adare Human Resource Management published research on Menopause in the workplace and shared guidance on practical supports that can be implemented by Irish businesses. Katie’s discussion will focus on the introduction of a ‘new norm’ across the Irish workplace. Highlighting why menopause is a workplace priority for inclusive workplaces. She will share information on inclusive and compassionate work policies that ensure all feel supported to forge forward in their careers, thus stemming the flow of women choosing to exit the workforce, or disregard opportunities for advancement, due to the lack of these crucial supports.
