We are delighted to invite you to our first webinar in 2026 in association with our strategic HR partner Osborne Recruitment.
Join our upcoming webinar on the EU Pay Transparency Directive – with the 7th of June deadline fast approaching, Organisations need to act now. Michelle McDonagh will break down what the new rules mean in practice, highlight the key risks of being unprepared, and share clear, practical steps to help you get ready for compliance.
The EU Pay Transparency Directive must be transposed into Irish law by June 7th. With just a few months remaining, Organisations need to move quickly from awareness to action. Essentially, preparation needs to be underway now.
The EU Pay Transparency Directive represents a fundamental shift in how pay, equality and transparency are regulated. It introduces enhanced information rights for Employees and jobseekers, new reporting and information obligations, and significantly lowers the barriers to bringing equal pay claims.
Crucially, many obligations will apply to all Organisations regardless of Employee headcount. Organisations with small headcounts will therefore face new compliance requirements, particularly around pay information requests.
Recruitment is likely to be one of the first areas where pay transparency is tested externally in practice. Organisations that delay preparation risk having their pay structures tested externally through recruitment processes before they are fully ready.
To minimise compliance risks and exposure to equal pay claims, early and structured preparation is essential.
To help Organisations prepare within the limited time remaining, Adare will be exploring both:
- What the law requires, and
- What Organisations need to do in practice to be ready
The session provides a complete roadmap for compliance and implementation ahead of the June deadline, as well as a clear view of the key compliance priorities, the legal risks of being unprepared and the consequences of non-compliance. This webinar also equips attendees with practical, workable steps to translate legal obligations into sustainable HR practices.
Key topics include:
- What the Directive says
- Like work and work of equal value
- Equal pay claims and burden of proof
- Organisational risks
- Job evaluation, architecture and identifying job categories
- Policy alignment, management training and process updates
- Key practical considerations arising from implementation of the Directive
Who should attend?
Business Leaders, Senior Managers, Business Owners, HR Professionals and those tasked with the responsibility for managing change within their organisation.
