What is this webinar about? 

The Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) should be designed to improve an Employee’s performance. It should be a genuine commitment to help the Employee improve, rather than as a precursor to termination.

The content of a PIP should focus around the job description, the individual Employee’s work objectives, performance records and any previous discussions had with the Employee on performance, relevant to the concerns.

The content of a PIP should always be discussed to ensure there is understanding and agreement between the Employee and the Manager. It should ensure that the evidence of underperformance is recorded within the knowledge of the Employee and that the performance goals prior to and arising from the PIP discussion should be reasonable.
