  • Labour Court Determination under Health & Safety and IR Acts Relating to Claims of Bullying, Penalisation, Work Related Stress and Deployment of a Company Doctor

    Within published cases issued by the Labour Court in January 2016 a most interesting case emerged, the outcome of which makes for recommended HR practitioner reading in the context of allegations of bullying at work and in particular aspects in the management of “work related stress” including the deployment of the Company Doctor in that context. The case ref: HSC/14/15 was brought by Worker Ms. ML, represented by SIPTU, against her Employer the County Offaly Citizens Information Service.
