Case Study 1: Management of Redundancies
Our client, a retail chain with a number of shops throughout Leinster, was downsizing their workforce due to a decrease in demand. This involved the closing of one shop and a reduction in headcount across all the other shops. Adare Human Resource Management assisted the retail chain with the planning and communications of the changes and the implementation of redundancies.
Case Study 2: Implementation of Contracts of Employment and Employee Handbook
A voluntary organisation with twenty staff approached Adare Human Resource Management to assist them with the development and roll out of contracts of employment and an employee handbook as well as manage a number of issues relating to short term and long term absence. Adare Human Resource Management successfully rolled out compliant contracts of employment and issued all employees with an employee handbook. We continue to support the voluntary organisation with HR Support Services on an ongoing basis.
Case Study 3: Review of HR Policies and Procedures
A manufacturing organisation who employs 35 staff contacted us to discuss a number of employee issues that they were experiencing and also to discuss a review of their contracts of employment and the development of an employee handbook. After meeting with the Managing Director and Financial Controller to discuss how we could meet their requirements, the organisation signed up to our Business Builder Partnership Programme and we have successfully implemented an employee handbook along with a review of their contracts of employment.
Case Study 4: Employee Handbook- Development and Implementation
A professional services company operating within the financial services industry employing 10 staff contacted us to put in place compliant employment contracts and policies and procedures. After meeting with the client to discuss their current terms and conditions, we developed customised employment contracts and a staff handbook and successfully rolled it out with their managers and employees. As with all of our Partnership Programmes, our client avails of HR advice through our HR Helpdesk on an ongoing basis.
Case Study 5: Updating of Policies and Procedures
We were contacted by a service provider who currently employs close to 80 staff to review their current practices and make recommendations to ensure compliance with employment legislation. Upon reviewing all their current HR/Employee documentation, we recommended a number of changes in areas such as Anti-Bullying and Harassment Procedures, Maternity and Adoptive Leave policies and terms contained within their contracts of employment. All changes were successfully implemented and we have since worked with the HR/Office Manager to provide them with support on a number of people management challenges they have faced.
