Employer Branding / Employer of Choice

An Employer brand can be defined as:

‘a set of attributes and qualities, often intangible, that makes an organisation distinctive, promises a particular kind of employment experience and appeals to those people who will thrive and perform best in its culture.

In essence, the expression ‘Employer branding’ describes how an Organisation communicates what is has to offer to existing and potential Employees.  Becoming ‘an Employer of choice’ represents an Employer’s efforts to promote, both within and outside the Organisation, a clear view of what makes it different and desirable as an Employer.

Building a healthy Employer brand which sets the Employer apart in the labour market can take time but can also provide numerous benefits. A strong Employer brand:
