D. Cases

At times it is necessary for Employees to avail of leave in order to fulfil their parental duties. The Parental Leave Acts set out the entitlements for parents of children under the relevant age, and how an Organisation must accommodate those individuals.

The Adare Human Resource Consultants have thoroughly analysed and interpreted key employment law legislation in order to assist Organisations within this process. There is little case law in this area at the present time, however those cases that have be taken relating to Parental Leave are set out in full text as well as including a useful summary setting out the key points of the cases below.

Below are a selection of Parental Leave from 2003 - 2015 the team at Adare Human Resource Management have compiled for your viewing. Some are private viewing for our members. To access the archive of cases please log in or sign up to Linea.
