The following legislation should be considered when looking at Annual Leave & Public Holidays;

  • The Organisation of Working Time Act, 1997 sets out minimum entitlements to annual leave and public holidays for all Employees.
  • The Workplace Relations Act 2015 has made amendments to the Organisation of Working Time Act 1997 to provide for accrual of annual leave entitlement during certified sick leave.
