Case Study 1: Development of a Competency Framework
Our client, an organisation with over 80 staff based in Dublin, approached Adare Human Resource Management to develop and implement a competency based framework for the organisation. This involved, through working groups, the identification of core and individual role competencies for all roles within the organisation as well as a levelling of the competencies. The resulting competency framework has been embedded within the organisations recruitment and performance management processes with the aim of positively impacting the recruitment and management of employees.
Case Study 2: Investigation into allegations of Bullying & Harassment
Adare Human Resource Management was approached by the HR Manager of an organisation with over 300 employees throughout Ireland. A serious complaint of Bullying and Harassment had been made and the organisation required an independent investigations panel to carry out the investigation. A thorough investigation was conducted in line with the organisations procedures and relevant Codes of Practice and the investigations panel issued their findings to the organisation.
Case Study 3: Bullying and Harassment Training
Our client, an established financial service provider with over 100 employees, contacted Adare Human Resource Management to provide on-site training within the organisation on Anti-Bullying and Harassment. Our training solution focused on delivering half-day workshops with managers on how to effectively identify and handle bullying and harassment issues should they arise. Our employee awareness sessions focused on ensuring all employees are aware of the behaviours that may constitute bullying and harassment, the procedure to follow should they experience any difficulties and also on preventative measures.
Case Study 4: Performance Management Training
We were contacted recently by a service provider with over 200 employees to work with their management team to provide them with the skills necessary to effectively carry out Performance Appraisals. Our consultants carried out a number of one-day skills courses with their managers. The interactive training sessions used the company specific performance appraisal forms and ensured not only where the required skills developed but a thorough understanding of the forms and process was achieved.
